Karen Gaithers is a born-again, Spirit-filled believer in Jesus Christ and an ordained minister through Novo Global Mission. Raised in Southern California, she now resides in Orange County, California.

Karen is an anointed mentor, life discipleship coach, author, and teacher in Christian living. She fervently believes her ministry and gifts are purposed for developing apostolic-minded, godly leaders for this generation. Her life’s mission can be summed up in one calling:
“Restoring Discipleship Foundations to the Body of Christ.”

Her discipleship work is expressed under the umbrella of Kingdom Growth Movements (KGM)—an online discipleship forum and community network of missional leaders and passionate believers. KGM exists as a hub for resource sharing, leadership equipping, monthly intercessory prayer, training intensives, events, and fellowship gatherings—both local and online.

Karen affectionately refers to herself as God’s “Handbook Maiden.” She says this humorously, but intentionally. By nature, she is a “how-to” person who values material that is substantive, practical, and gets straight to the point. She believes discipleship and mentoring thrive when learning is clear, relevant, and easily applied—and her writing reflects that conviction.

Professionally, Karen serves as a master discipleship trainer and mentor. She has authored multiple books and training resources now used in discipleship environments with individuals, churches, and small groups. She specializes in seven key areas of discipleship:
-
Peacemaking
-
Evangelism
-
Spiritual Identity & Purpose
-
Intercessory Prayer
-
Prophetic Ministry Leadership
-
Peer Discipleship
-
Spiritual Parenting
-
Life Discipleship
-

Through online courses, small groups, podcasting, blogging, and one-on-one mentoring, she equips believers to become what she calls “Spiritually Skillful”—a signature expression describing a mature, transformed, and effective life in Christ.
Karen is also the founder and lead facilitator of Watchmen Women on the Wall, a national online intercessory prayer network. In addition, she operates a professional Peacemaking and Conflict Coaching practice in Orange, California, serving individuals and church communities.

Her academic training includes a B.A. in Organizational Leadership from Biola University, a Graduate Certificate in Biblical Studies from The King’s Seminary, and a Master’s degree in Peacemaking and Conflict Studies with an emphasis in church ministry from Fresno Pacific University.
